Concrete Pathways & Footpaths

Paths are the small jobs that make a property work — down the side of the house to the bins, out to the shed, around to the clothesline, up to the front door. They are also the jobs plenty of concreters will not bother turning up for.

We do them, and we do them the same way we would do a driveway: proper base, reinforced, poured to fall, finished to match whatever else is on the property. No job is too small.

What you get

Small jobs, done properly

What we get right

Width that works

Wide enough for a wheelie bin, or a mower, or two people. Measure what has to go down it before settling on a width.

Fall away from the house

A path against the wall that falls the wrong way puts water where you least want it.

Level with what it meets

Paths join driveways, decking and gates. The joins are where trip hazards come from, so they get set properly.

A finish that matches

The same finish as the driveway makes a property read as one piece. A brushed finish is safest where a path gets wet and shaded.

Questions

No job is too small. A few square metres down the side of the house is still worth doing properly, and we will quote it the same way we would quote a driveway.

Close, not exact. New concrete never matches old exactly — the old has weathered and the batch is different. On a path adjoining an existing slab it usually blends within a season.

No, formed concrete steps are not something we take on. Flat work — paths, slabs, driveways and strips — is what we do.

Yes. It controls cracking even where there is no vehicle load.
